Dr. Lauren Edwards is a licensed psychologist working with teens, adults, and groups. She is the owner of Edwards Psychological Associates and co-founder of Daily DBT. Dr. Edwards received her undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University and her PhD in Psychology from the University of Tennessee. She is a consultant for the Samaritan Counseling Center of Atlanta and an adjunct professor at Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Edwards’ specialties include working with emotional dysregulation, depression/anxiety, attachment and interpersonal process, relationship issues, college and graduate students, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. She regularly provides training and supervision on a variety of topics including suicide prevention.
When she isn’t working, Dr. Edwards loves to be on the water (at the beach, on the lake, or by the river), eat (and sometimes cook), be outdoors whenever possible, and spend time with family and friends.
